MUSE: Crosby Street Hotel #1

Traveling to NYC is always bittersweet. I love this city, love the food, love the shops, love the people watching. Love to see my dearest and oldest friends when I am here, and – because I am so often here for trade shows – love to see friends from all across the country. That is all very much the sweet side.

The bitter is being away from my boys and their daily rhythm that keeps me on my toes. Yes, the first two days are a welcome break, but the rest leave me aching for lego messes and syrup covered cheeks. To keep my mind off missing home, I have booked a few nights at the outrageously chic Crosby Street Hotel.

These are photos I snapped upon walking in my room. I had to capture it before messing it up with phone and camera chargers, shoes, luggage and messy me. I will have to snap more of the common areas and share them with you – every single detail is just so lovely.

Those pics are beautiful! I miss the Crosby, but miss you most of all!

  3. [...] When I was lucky enough to stay there in May I tried to spend lots of time in the common areas of the hotel, as they were so special and inviting. The console pictured above sits in the corridor by the elevators. I never did ask what it was made of, maybe shell? But my goodness was it a lovely object to admire as I waited to be escorted to my spectacular room. [...]
