I am not much of a beer drinker and it is too bad as there is a lot of fancy beer that passes though my house. Tyler has been diligently researching small production American beers and Belgian ales for years now ~ tireless work that may never be done. What I have learned along the way is that there are some great graphics happening on these beer labels. This hometown favorite always delivers, and of course there are classics like this one and this one.
Through my occasional tasting I have also learned that I like wheat beers. For me the best ever is New Glarus Cracked Wheat. It hits on so many things I hold dear; it is seasonal, it is Mid-western, the graphics are strong and it is really really good. Made not-so-far from me in Wisconsin, I have heard it is situated in the *cutest* Swiss village. If you can get your hands on some, I highly recommend that you do. Cheers!

How I love your post! After our visit to New Glarus – I brought back Stone Soup and Moon Man – two other additions to add to my favorites list! Can’t wait for you to taste and enjoy the old school labels. My favorite part of the design is the bottle cap with the thumbprint in the outline of Wisconsin. New Glarus does it right!
Becca! You are so right. The bottle cap is really good.
