The night of Halloween at our house is all about the kids and keeping it easy so that they can make the most of it. We have an open door policy for friends that includes a big pot of chili and spiked hot cider, enjoyed while sitting on the front porch watching the show walking down our street. I have definitely become more enthusiastic about this holiday, so much so that I’ve been thinking about throwing an open house the weekend before with a little more sophisticated flair.
to TREAT: I have wanted to make this cake for years
to WRAP: Snow & Graham papers in crisp black and white for paper cones
to SNACK: Wouldn’t a popcorn bar be fun? With different flavors to mix and match. I want to try this recipe.
to SIP: These days it isn’t a party with out paper straws in your color scheme.
to SPOOK: I’ve got Ty working on a playlist filled with dramatic old waltzes and organ music (get it?)
