Necessity is the mother of invention, as they say, and this Halloween decoration was a much needed pick-me up last year. My boys discovered that some “meaners” had stolen our pumpkins as we were heading out on a dog walk. Halloween was just days away and carving a new batch was not in the stars. On that same dog walk we found these huge, beautiful branches had fallen in a neighbor’s yard. We carried them home and made this ghost tree. Crafting with candy and kids is way less stressful than crafting with carving tools and kids. We had everything we needed laying around the house and I bet you do, too.
