I wanted to share the craft we did last night at the CUPCAKES & COCOA event with our friends at Urbanic. After all the fun we had making paper chains by the yard last year, I knew we could do something a tad more complicated and versatile with this craft savvy crowd. I designed this as a way to use up little bits of wrap to top a present, but as we found last night they make lovely corsages and boutineers as well.
YOU’LL NEED:
Circle Punch
Glue Stick
String
Large Sparkly Bead
All those leftover bits of S&G wrap you’ve been saving
We used this 2 inch circle punch to make ours, but you could cut the circles out by hand and make these as large or as small as you like. These posies are a nice way to dress up a simple brown box when made from a patterned paper, but I am thinking plain paper posies on a decorative wrap would be striking. And while I love the simplicity of one large flowers centered on a package, a collection of little ones is awfully nice.
